There is lots to do and see in
Ajijic.
You will be able to keep yourself as relaxed or as busy
as you want to
be.
   |
| The history of Ajijic goes back to 1531.
Life here has changed a bit but you can still feel the past as
you sit in the village plaza and watch the donkeys pass by or the
children as they play in the streets. Life here is
typically simpler, slower and tradition is all around you. |
| Activities |
   |
|
Take a boat tour of Lake Chapala, go horseback
riding, visit the San Andres Parish Church or the Rosario Chapel, rent a bike
and cycle along the cyclopista (bike path) which runs over 20 miles. Go to
Tobolandia-Ajijic’s water park,
play golf, stroll through one of
the local markets, join in one of the many festivals
that take place almost
every month, explore the art galleries and silver jewelers in town, or go for a
hike in the local mountains and discover the Tepalo Natural Waterfall. |

If that isn’t enough to keep you busy, why not have a
facial or a massage at one of the spas in town, take in a movie at the 3 screen
movie theatre (showing current, English language movies), work off last nights dinner at one of
the fitness clubs, take a
spinning class, a yoga class, or pilates, sign up for drawing or painting

wonderful Guadalajara to explore.
You can be as busy as you want to be or not…but you’ll
never be bored!
